Using Full Screen Apps Mac

Just got my new iPad Pro 11' and started playing with it. Thing is, some apps (so far I've noticed Facebook and Netflix) do not use the full screen. I am sure that one answer is that the app authors need to update their apps to handle the new dimensions.

My question here is, though, is there some setting on the iPad that will essentially stretch the app (like the iPhone 1x/2x thing) to get them to fit?


It's more of a bummer on Netflix--it won't even use the full screen in full screen.
