Why Won T My Apps Update On Mac

I'm trying to update my 2011 MacBook pro from OS X 10.7.5 to the latest version Sierra.

Basically the install won't finish and gets stuck on a page with an apple logo and loading bar (see photo). I've tried all of the recovery mode stuff and restarting the Sierra install. For some reason I can't just go back and reinstall 10.7.5 because Sierra is now installed on to my Hard Drive?

Jul 11, 2018  I turned on auto updates about a month ago. It’s been working to my expectations. Apps won’t update immediately but periodically. They seem to happen overnight mostly while charging with Wi-Fi available. This applies to my 2 iPads, iPhone and 2 AppleTVs. Sep 02, 2012 I turned on my MacBook pro today and whenever I click on anything, I get a rainbow wheel. And whenever I click on apps they just bounce and won't open. And sometimes it will just rainbow wheel on login and won't let me in. Basically it's impossible to use. I'm not sure what to do. Part 1: Why Won't My iPad Update. Updating the iDevice is really easy and simple but sometimes due to the unexpected minor or major problems we cannot update the iOS smoothly. Some of the possible reasons why iPad won’t update to iOS are given below: 1. Your iPad model may not be in the iOS 12 supported device list. Nov 23, 2019  To do this, click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner, then on “About This Mac” and then on “System Report.” When the report opens up, scroll down to the “Software” section. Nov 20, 2010  No cracked apps here. IPhone isn't even jailbroken. This is an iTunes issues on my Mac. I was able to update all 11 apps via wifi last night, then they were copied to my mac when I synced this morning. For the people that are experiencing this, how many apps do you have? Wonder if iTunes just 'gave up' on checking all the time.

I also had about 30gb of free disk space.

Open the Mac App Store, navigate to the Purchases page. If there’s an Accept button next to any apps that are causing you issues, click on it. Sometimes, you switch Apple IDs. If you downloaded the app with an old Apple ID you no longer use, you’ll need to log into that account to update it. Dec 28, 2019 in some case, if your mac running with Beta profile then you won’t see update now button, in such case, you will have to remove beta profile on your Apple Mac and after that go to the next step Step #3: Toggle ON the “ automatically check for updates” and also turn on all the below options.

This is really annoying me as I am a music producer and heavily rely on my laptop.

I'm also worried about my data being lost?

Can anyone please help?
